creative visualization

“Live Your Dreams…”

“Live Your Dreams…”

I’m a strong believer in Creative Visualization.  I have a list of goals in a little journal that I read before I begin my work each day.  I call it “Visualization and Positive Goals in the Present” because they’re written as though I’ve already accomplished them.

For example:
     “I am independently wealthy!”
“I’m living in my dream home!”
“My tennis website is a huge success!  I’m well respected for the work I’m doing.”

This a powerful tool for making your dreams come true.  It works on your subconscious mind to create the things you want and programs your mind to make it happen.

I discovered a poem that I like to read each day.  It’s called “Live Your Dreams Each Day”.  There’s no author and I don’t remember where I found it.  I keep it in the front of my website binder and read it often.  I’d like to share it with you and hope that it inspires you the way it does me.

An Affirmation for You

An Affirmation for You

Affirmation   I use affirmations and creative visualization every day as part of my daily work routine.  I’ll have more to say about that in another article.

Affirmations guide our subconscious mind toward beliefs we want to adopt, and dreams we want to come true.

I’m reading “Ageless Body Timeless Mind” by Deepak Chopra.  On page 183 he shares an affirmation:

“I am perfect as I am.  Everything in my life is working toward my ultimate good.  I am loved and I am love.”

I posted on his Facebook page that this is unrealistic.  Nobody is perfect and trying to program ourselves to believe it is not helpful.  I offered an alternative:

“I love myself unconditionally and feel safe exploring ways to improve and grow.”  It’s simple and powerful…

I’ve added it to my book of affirmations and creative visualizations that I read every day at the beginning of my work routine.
